McDonald's Twitter Campaign Backfires - TheStreet

McDonald’s experienced a social media fail recently with a Twitter campaign that encouraged users to share their personal experiences with the franchise. Apparently they are surprised by all the negative tweets that have come in. My question is, why would people have happy stories about going to McDonald’s of all places? There’s only two reasons to eat at McDonald’s. You’re either too broke or too lazy to eat somewhere else. Actually, one more; you’re high. Hopefully they learned a lesson. I mean, just because it worked for Oreo doesn’t mean it can work for you.
