Should teen "sexting" be a crime?

Sexting.jpgRecently there have been numerous stories on television and the Internet about teens distributing child pornography in schools. Sounds pretty freaky, but the twist is even freakier -- the so-called "child pornography" was pictures of themselves, and the distribution method was text messaging. Sending provocative photos of yourself to your boyfriend -- or a cute boy that you like. Is this really a crime? Sounds to me like poor taste -- but a felony? Not only were the girls were charged with manufacturing and distributing child porno, but the boys -- also teens -- were charged with possession.

The moral of the story: Parents, talk to your teens. And teens, think first before showing off your hot bod, it just might get you and your friends in a lot of hot water.

i don't judge but you should just go to their house and show them in person. it means alot more and they can't send it to other people if they get mad at you.
